  • Comments Thread For: Johnny Nelson: Not a Lock That Mayweather Beats McGregor

Former world champion and Sky Sports expert analyst Johnny Nelson believes the possibility exists that UFC superstar Conor McGregor will pull off a huge upset next month when he faces five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather (49-0, 26 KOs), 40 years old, returns from a two year retirement to face McGregor, who is taking part in his first professional boxing match.

Lol...Johny Nelson never gets any prediction right. He predicted Ward would knock out Kovalev in the 1st fight, then flip-flopped and picked Kovalev for the KO in the second fight. Winning press tours is subjective and does not win matches. I thought Mc Gregor looked out of place in London: sweating in a suit and looking awkward.

        That's world class fence sitting.
It's not a lock but in my mind mayweather wins hands down, so whatever the outcome he gets to say he called it. You slippery ba5tard you.

He has to say this incase Sky gets the rights for the fight.

The only people that aren't saying it's a ridiculous mismatch are those who will make some money from the fight, whether it's the teams involved or people working for the TV broadcasters.

Johnny Nelson: "In my head, Floyd does it hands down, but let's not forget ... "

"... that I work for the people who going to be selling this fight in the UK. So here's a list of reasons why Conor might, just, possibly, maybe, win .."

So Sky are airing the fight in the U.K., thanks for the heads up Jonny, now I know I'll have a decent free streak fight night.
