Roy Jones Jr was KO'd by Antonio Tarver. It was so shocking to see one of my hero's go out like that. With that being said, I honestly shed a tear when I saw this video of Prichard Colon. The man will have to relearn how to walk, how to talk, how to function. However, even with all of that he instinctively knows how to slip a punch. The sport took something from him he may never get back, but even so what he does reclaim will in part be because of that very same sport. Boxing isn't just in his mind or in his muscles, it's his SOUL. It was beautiful man, I love this damn sport.

That's a difficult video to watch, makes you want to rethink accusing fighters of acting in the ring. -
This is a savage, ****ed up sport. And that's why you respect all fighters, you can only laugh at these online soldiers calling real soldiers quitters and duckers.
It's good to see Colon making some progress, however little it is. Luckily he has family and loved ones looking after him, that will only help with his recovery.Comment

I agree, it's sad. Colon was a potential contender, the referee didn't do his job! Williams was rabbit punching constantly. There is the huge danger to boxers, rabbit punches. Watched Elbiali v Brooker last night and was thinking about the danger of rabbit punches but the referee did a good job. Hopefully your post reminds fans like myself of Colon. May God bless and keep him, praying for miracles. One last thing Colon still has more head movement than Horn, LOL.Comment

Last time I shed a tear because of boxing was when Pacman was KO'ed cold. I was driving back home with my bro riding ******* and all we could say was 'damn' and smack our teeth, literally. No lie.Comment

I remember when Kostya Tszyu lost to Vince Phillips. After that i never got emotionally attached to a fighter again. It's something a fan needs to learn to do sooner or later.
I don't know what everybody else is talking about though. I just wanted to share my story.Comment

Man that sh^t is f#cked up to see. Watching any of this stuff with severely hurt boxers who are some other person now & in some shell of their former body is horrible to watch.
I'll remember this Prichard Colon, not whatever that shell of a man is in that wheelchair.
