Charles Martin is ready to take the next step in his comeback. The former IBF heavyweight champion's manager, Mike Borao, told BoxingScene.com that he intends to match Martin against a top-15 contender in his next fight, probably early in the fall. Martin produced his second knockout win Tuesday night since embarking on his comeback earlier this year.

He won the lottery when he won the title. In the Joshua fight he didn't look good enough to even be a sparring partner for Joshua. I doubt he could beat anyone in the top 5 today and he'd be hard pressed to be competitive in the top 10 with that glass jaw. I'd be afraid he'd go down when they touched gloves at the start of the fight.
