On paper - it's a boxing match - that alone is all the paper needs to read...

He's trying to get people tp bet on McGregor. Word on the street is the betting widows are lit up with big bets coming in on McGregor. 5k+!

if he's trying to sell the fight then shouldnt he be saying this during the press tour?? instead, he made fun of mcgregor, calling mcgregor a quitter and that he'll never lose to a quitter LOL.

Floyd contradicts himself, he's done it before.
The fight is going to sell regardless though. They did their WWE **** on the press tour. (The staged WWE performances and corniest press conferences I've ever seen) Mayweather mentioned McGregor only lost by submission not on his feet standing up. So he's either trying to get himself hyped up for someone who is 0-0 with no amateur or pro boxing experience. Or Floyd could be backtracking trying to sell McGregor now as a legitimate opponent saying he's never lost standing up, only by submission on the ground. Or he could be doing both trying to sell the fight and trying to get himself hyped up.

Regardless, Mayweather can tell these people the truth about how he feels about McGregor as an opponent and these people will still spend their $100 on the fight.

You know what PT Barnum said, there's one born every minute. He was right.

This is the way most of Mayweather's fights have been sold to boxing fans.....Mayweathers opponent......IF they land the BIG ONE Opponents and their fans are concerned about landing a BIG SHOT while floyd is more focused on WINNING the fight.
And Floyd trains hard for EVERY fight no matter WHO IT IS.
