Alvarez didn't have reach advantage though. But apart from that then yeah he had everything else.

Oh, Saunders was tearing into Monroe Jr. calling him a quitter, brought up his fight with Triple G and told him he quit, was telling him he's a mentally weak person.

It was good **** from Saunders, you got to check it out:

This idiot jr knows in a boxing match Conor has a ZERO chance a BIG FAT ZERO !!!!!

For Conor to at least survive a KO he must keep Jr on the ropes with his arms all over Jr like a drunk monkey and do that for 12 rounds.

Ain't Happening! Conor gets super frustrated and chokes Jr OUT and gets disqualified or gets KO'd.

Completely ignoring that Conors stand up is largely done in kicking range. Nice try Floyd.

Floyd is such a troll lol. I love how when he's mentioning advantages he doesn't mention the fact he's had 49 professional fights and Connor has had 0 in a boxing ring

"I own so much property, made so many smart investments. It's truly a blessing," Mayweather said.

What about all the losing betting slips you don't post on social media?

The sports books have the fight set with Mayweather being only a 5:1 favorite; 40 is still 40, so I'm not touching the fight, but the pitch seems to be working.

The building, with tickets not even out yet, will likely sell out within the week they go on sale (for no other reason than scalpers paying Floyd his money, in the hope of getting their own return on the secondary market).

The PPV will do a monster number, as the interest in the fight has already crossed over into pop culture and far being just the core boxing/MMA audiences.

To simply write it off as a property that only rubes can fall for is a mistake.

Floyd has "best to ever do it" ability, but he's still 40 years old, he's had two years off (following a performance that he basically won 12-0, but also saw him miss openings and start to look for air late), he's giving up sheer size (Conor will likely have him by 15-20lbs come fight night), reach, youth, and he's doing it all against a southpaw fighter (Floyd's troubles with southpaws have been greatly overblown, but it's beyond obvious that he works with fewer tools against southpaws than he does orthodox fighters). You add that Conor is coming in with a different style and his corner seems to have some wits about them (Conor sat for a press question and dropped enough knowledge to let you know that they've already done some good work breaking down what Floyd brings to the table), and you've got something interesting to work with.

Floyd's skills would have him as the favored fighter, but to simply assume that Floyd has Conor figured and that the body can still perform at the level that Floyd needs it to, is a mistake

                    Beauty of the tax code

As long as Floyd has a way to keep the receipts (keeping all of his ******** to 1-2 sports books in Las Vegas doesn't hurt), Floyd Mayweather (or whatever legal entity that his tax attorney can establish for him) is in the professional sports betting business (where any losses accrue as a tax expense, which is then used to offset any winnings, dollar for dollar).

                    Nice little write-off, lol

You know it's a mismatch when a fighter goes out of his way to big-up his opponent this much.
