What a surprise that Wilder's principles turn out to be no such thing.

Nevertheless this is a good fight if it happens, finally Wilder is fighting a live opponent and Ortiz's title shot is long overdue.

All credit to Wilder if this is serious. I'm going to join the bomb squad hype again if this is for real

Ortiz is a plodder but if he lands it's lights out for BS......it's a decent fight compared to Wilders previous but I would love to know Ortiz's real age.

Will give Bumsquad all due credit and props if he fights and defeats Ortiz..... although long in the tooth and a little past his prime...by far his best and most dangerous opponent to date.

Golden Boi here let me tell you this secret, magic trick...

IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO SAY YOU ONLY FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHTER ONCE THEY WERE OLD, THEN TRY FIGHTING A GOOD FiGHTER BEFORE THEY GEt OLD!

Not that complicated. If Wilder wanted to fight prime Ortiz, they he would have fought prime Ortiz two years ago, instead of waiting until Ortiz got old and looked like **** going 12 rounds with Malik Scott LOL.

You get the credit you deserve, for what you actually do. There are levels to credit. Fighting bums is one level. Then fighting a name, but passed his prime, is a higher level, but still not a legit level because they're old. Fighting a top guy who is still in his prime, that is the highest level. When Wilder actually does that, he will get credit for doing that. Don't put it on the fans for not giving him credit for something if he still isn't doing it. When he actually does it, he will get the credit, but we all know 38 years old is not prime, especially not when the performances in the ring have decreased in quality drastically before Wilder decided to fight him. Those are facts.
