Good fight! I don't feel confident picking a winner, but I feel that Wilder's reach and height could be the difference. Either way it probably doesn't go 12.

I dont see this happening, why risk bum squad fighting a legit opponent with the huge AJ payday on the horizon?

Haymon will prolly poisen king kong the night before the fight like he did to stirverne

"Negotiations are nearly finalized for Wilder to oppose Ortiz"
Shouldn't it have instead said "Ortiz to oppose Wilder" instead of the other way around? Wilder is supposed to be a Champion, but he doesn't get that Championship respect. Better late than never, I guess, but Wilder should have fought guys like Ortiz long ago.

This has to be a great year for boxing match-ups when even Deontay Wilder is taking a tough fight!

Dont worry mate, Stiverne'll fight against Deontay Wilder again. No doubt! This fighting story will only remain in theory. He will not want to lose his WBC title until he is fought with Joshua. Another BUM opponent loading...

Beyoncé Wilder finally! But Washington was giving him real problems on less than a months notice, Ortiz is way more skilled.

But, seriously, well done to him if he does take it.

                      One question though...

If he accepts this fight, does it make him the bravest guy in the division. After all there's no reward in fighting Ortiz and everybody else seems to have avoided him straight up.
