Ortiz looked average at best in his last 2 fights. I've always said Ortiz isn't as good as his hype but Wilder still gets credit for fighting him.

One question though...

If he accepts this fight, does it make him the bravest guy in the division. After all there's no reward in fighting Ortiz and everybody else seems to have avoided him straight up.

Awesome news. Just today I was reading through Wilder threads here with the majority of people saying nobody will care about his next opponent because it will be a no-hoper...way to show them wrong Deontay.

Fighting the most avoided guy in the HW division...he better not get hated on for this.
