Broken jaw from a punch to the face is legit. Getting punched low around the genital area is not. And what happened to Manny was simply being robbed by the judges...

Joe was going to get outboxed sooner or later. He's a head hunter, all he wants is that one big punch. Barrera took advantage and worked the body and head while Joe swung for the stars. More combos, less bombs. Work up and down stairs, quit looking for the big KO.

The fight was not even close, and Joe Smith would not have done any better if his jaw had not been shattered. He is as tough and determined as they come, but he's too crude skill-wise. He's a Chris Arreola.

I noticed he was holding his mouth funny a few times during the fight. I guess this explains it. He didn't look fatigued, he looked like he didn't want to get hit much more doe. Props for fighting through the pain
