I cant believe just like that his career is over. He was one of my favorite fighters for a long time and in a weird way never reached his full potential. Ive seen every guerrero fight live since 08 and I have huge respect for this good man. Always fought with heart, didnt back down to any challenge and left it all in the ring. The Ghost

What makes you think that Floyd didn't also ask God for a victory as well?

Why people don't understand such a simple concept is silly. I mean, how many times have you asked your parents for something and they didn't get it for you? Does that mean your parents aren't don't love you? Does it mean they're not real?

Had a really good career. And yeah, it's time. That was hard to watch on Saturday.

GGG been calling out Floyd. Canelo been calling out Floyd just last week. Manny Pac still tryna get a rematch with Floyd. Jeff Horn just won his first world title, and guess what, he even brought a walking stick and made a pre-meditated call out to Floyd in the post fight interview. MMA fighters even calling out Floyd.

          But Floyd irrelevant doe.

The incessant need for every fighter to thank Al Haymon above all others is some creepy cult-like ****.

or maybe they're genuinely appreciative that he works so hard on their behalf and doesn't screw them?

Am sure those fighters are not ******, if thanking Al doesn't hurt them then why not? If it means another $m in their bank account then who are we to judge.

Depends on context. If you consider boxing as a whole, then he has had a great career when you consider probably 99.7% of fighters never get to world level.

In the context of world championship boxing, he had pretty good career.

And here is this runner Floyd, still boxing for 100 million dollar pay days, still relevant, still rich, still controlling his own future. I hope future Latino boxers shy away from this machismo style of eating leather, and realize that any fool can take a punch, but a skillful warrior can win and continue winning. The crowds will fade away eventually. Why not fade away with all of your brain cells, and millions of dollars in the bank?
Because even if they wanted to, not everyone can be a Floyd Mayweather.

Most "tough Latino" fighters are fighting to their strengths.
