I don't think Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has any credibility, even among the Mexican fan base. I know that NONE of the Mexicans I know, want to see JCC Jr. EVER! Many were cheering for JCC Jr., after Canelo kept ducking GGG, but after that performance, his name is dirt! Jacobs will be killed on social media if he accepts a fight with Junior! Totally unacceptable!

We shall see. His value is obviously reduced, but I still think there is enough value & for Jacobs specifically there is value having a name on his resume that Canelo does & even better yet with a KO next to it instead of just the W.

And hey maybe that Mexican fanbase will come to see him get beat next time lol.

You believe Zurdo is the Lara of 168?

In that he fights very Cuban-ish yea.

Maybe I'm just expecting a more traditional Mexican fighting style from him which accentuates his boxing even more than normal for me idk.

Ok, I kind of get what you're saying. Not sure I agree totally but I appreciate your posts...

Agreed that Jacobs should take the Jr. fight for more exposure, too. I think he stops him.

Jacobs has a name of value on is resume, and soon Canelo will have that same name! He still loss the fight, and he shouldn't squander the "shine" he's getting from that loss! If he wants to test 168, book a flight to the UK, and fight DeGale ASAP! Don't **** with Junior! His name is poison! The odds of JCC Jr. beating Jacobs are similar to the odds of McGregor beating Floyd! I would love to see Jacobs do what i've seen Tank and Errol do earlier in this year! If Jacobs doesn't mind being on someone's undercard, then fight DeGale on the undercard of Wilder vs. Joshua! That's a fight worthy of your accomplishments, not JCC Jr.

I'm British and fighter like Degale and BJS are big disappointments to us. Once they became Champions they failed to step up and fight all-comers. Froch set the blueprint and fought everyone. No one cares if you lose and you put it all out there. Khan used to be someone I was proud of too. But he became cautious and hasn't fought anyone good at his own weight for years. Fury got scared after he beat Klitchsko. AJ is the only British fighter out there who is willing to risk everything.

I'm going to politely ask you to reconsider your statement. I don't think BJS and James Degale should be mentioned in the same sentence! Since 2014, DeGale beat Andre Dirrell in the U.S., Lucien Bute in Quebec, Porky Medina in Washington D.C., and a draw with Badou Jack in New York City! That's impressive for a British fighter, or any fighter that resides outside the U.S.! Put some respect on the the man's name! Plus, his sister is "fine" as ****! I'm just sayin'!

LOL idk why you hating so hard on a fight that is only in the rumored stages, but I really don't get why you keep mentioning 168lb guys for Jacobs? And I really got no clue wtf you are on about Joshua vs Wilder? Did I miss some news today or something?

Jacobs is a player at 160. And whoever wins or loses in Sept. could be looking at Jacobs as their next opponent after winning or losing the most anticipated non-circus fight of the year so switching divisions seems a highly bad idea to me. He'd actually be wise to maybe not make a move til after September.
