If JCC Jr. had even tried vs. Canelo, it would make sense. NOT NOW!!!

He's still a name guy. And he's a name guy who just had a major fight. Don't act like you don't understand how this business works. If he can KO Chavez Jr after he went 12 with Canelo that means something & has value for Jacobs' career. Even if he just beats him it'll mean something cuz JCC Jr is a name guy.

I would rather see Jacobs vs. Immanuwel Aleem, Demetrius Andrade, or Erislandy Lara, on his own card, than to fight JCC Jr. on someone else's card!

Don't get me started on the "I'd rather see" angle cuz I'd rather see competitive fights all day at all levels of boxing LOL.

If I was President of Boxing every card would look like a UFC card with upsets up & down the program sheet (random fact there was one UFC card where ALL the dogs won, show me that happening in boxing ever). Thats not currently the sport we watch & are fans of doe.

Gotta live in the reality we are dealing with while hoping things eventually change into what other sports have adopted as their MO.

I don't think Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has any credibility, even among the Mexican fan base. I know that NONE of the Mexicans I know, want to see JCC Jr. EVER! Many were cheering for JCC Jr., after Canelo kept ducking GGG, but after that performance vs. Canelo, his name is dirt!
