If Loma wins this, as I expect, I hope these posters say the same about the win.

You are over exaggerating. That said, you can't be surprised people are calling him a duck given that is how things go here on NSB and the internet as a whole. Now that Loma is occupying a spot near the top he is getting the same treatment although IMO its to a much lesser extent.

I just hope that if you criticized Floyd's win over JMM because of the weight issue, the same should be done here.

    Do you agree?
Rigo has publically challenged Loma to fight him at 130. You can't critcise him for accepting that challenge, but his size advantage would take much of the shine off the victory if he beat Rigo at 130, no doubt about that.

Makes me wonder what's in this match for Loma? No title, no big payday and no great respect for beating a smaller man.

I want to see Loma/Berchelt next, assuming Loma beats Marriaga which I believe he will easily and thoroughly.

I wanted to see the fight a year or so ago when they were closer in weight and 1st discussed it. I think its too easy a win for Loma now.

I think its a a very winnable fight over a well respected HOF fighter for Loma so I can see why the matchmakers would make that fight.

The fight should have been made years ago at 126, but it just didnt happen.

They should just let it go, Rigo it seems is on the out and him taking a beating at 130 is just to get a paycheck.

At 126 I could see a good fight. At 130 Rigo gets a beating, so I don't see a point to it, what good does that do for boxing?
          I agree with your points.

Rigo is the one Twitting how much he wants the fight. Then he gets an offer that's higher than any payday he got so far... Still not good enough? Now he is getting lowballed? Poor Rigo has to go up 2 weight classes for Loma? No he doesn't but he is the one calling Loma out, not the other way around, so if he's calling him out then get up in weight...

How many fighters or promoters have done what Loma's team have done when it comes to offering more money if the fighter wins? They purposely offer a low purse and say they will double it only if they win, while their fighter is guaranteed an amount.

Has Rigo camp talked to Michael Yormark yet?
Roc nation the wealthiest of them all promoters.
Team Rigo doesn't even have balls employing their services
to get the fight he wants.
They'd rather just tweet in the comfort of their basement.

Rigo looks small even at 122, and I believe what I've heard about him still being able to make 118 easily. People inside boxing know how good Rigo is, but he's virtually unknown to casual fans. They would just see Loma in there with some minature little guy they never heard of before. And people who know boxing know how critical weight is in those lower divisions, so would Loma get much credit from either type of fan for beating Rigo?

Low ball? How do you low ball a fighter with no financial staying power what so ever. Rigo should be happy with whatever scraps are thrown his way because this is his last opportunity to make a career for himself.

If they dont like that tell Roc to fork over the cash. Rigo calling Loma out maybe Loma should demand Roc pay him a good amount. But no its always Lomas team that has to accommodate to a fighter with virtually no negotiation power.
