Idk about that. You're one of the more voracious PBC haters on the site so we should take everything you say with a grain of salt. This card had no promotion and was really overshadowed by the World Tour. And the last Fox card did pretty well actually (Wilder-Washington). Maybe FOX just didn't want to pay a lot of money for the card this time out. Fox might have been happy with the numbers seeing as the purses were low.
PBC on Fox overnight ratings peak at 996K

Btw Fox pays for these cards now, no more time buyA million didn't watch it avg barely over 900k for the entire telecast. These are horrible numbers in context to what networks do on prime time. FOX and these big networks draw over 1m viewers for reruns that they air when they don't have original live content.
It's also a bad trend PBC on FOX started with 2.2m viewers and basically gotten worse ratings then the previous card each time out bottoming out under 1m viewers. This is the same trend that happened on NBC before they pulled the plug with the exception that NBC started with higher ratings (3.4m) then FOX started with. NBC bottomed out at 1.2m viewers this is much worse then the falloff we saw on NBC. The fact that PBC despite the dead summer with little other sporting competition decided to give FOX such a crap headliner in Guerrero/Figueroa is also telling. Like they just throwing cheap cards because their timebuy is about to end in a few months. This is what PBC did with ESPN and NBC down the stretch as well gave weak fights because they knew they weren't getting a TV deal and didn't want to waste more money on better fights.Comment

Know about what? This was the worst overnight rating for PBC. That's a fact and not reported by me. Also wilder fight didn't do good. He's fought 3 times on network TV that was his worst rating.Idk about that. You're one of the more voracious PBC haters on the site so we should take everything you say with a grain of salt. The Wilder-Washington tripleheader went head-to-head with a Bulls-Cavs game on ABC and a Flyers-Penguins game on NBC on Saturday night.
The NBA game, in which LeBron James didn’t play against former teammate Dwayne Wade, peaked at 2.43 million viewers. The NHL game peaked at 1.91 million viewers.
The Wilder-Washington ratings, while reasonably competitive with the NBA and NHL telecasts, were lower than Wilder’s last appearance on broadcast television. Wilder’s domination of Chris Arreola drew a peak viewership of 2.54 million in a fight also broadcast by FOX on July 16. That fight also took place at Legacy Arena.
Wilder-Washington, which marked the third time Wilder has headlined a show on broadcast television, also drew lower ratings than his 11th-round stoppage of France’s Johann Duhaupas in September 2015 at Legacy Arena. That telecast peaked at 2.36 million viewers on NBC.Comment

Wilder does decent on Fox. He doesn't blow the doors off, he does decently. It's hard to say what's "good" or "bad" for boxing on network TV because it's still relatively new and there's not much historical data. PBC has been competitive with UFC on Fox numbers though and thats definitely positiveKnow about what? This was the worst overnight rating for PBC. That's a fact and not reported by me. Please post a link I've seen nothing stating FOX pays for this I do know PBC paid for the air time and their time buy with FOX ends this year. There are bad ratings especially since they had no major sporting events they went head to head with on the other major networks last night. CBS during the same time slot head to head aired a re-run of little big shots and drew 2.3m viewers. PBC on FOX drew just 850K viewers.

Meh you're comparing Apples to oranges. UFC gets 100mm per year from Fox and will probably get more and PBC is competitive with their Fox ratings. Their biggest mistake was bad marketing and bad matchups. Their one Gem was PBC on Spike though. Man the cards on that network for whatever reason turned out some real great fights.Comment

The lowest overnight rating in the history of UFC on FOX did 1.74m viewers and peaked at 1.86m viewers. Their worst ratings literally did DOUBLE the viewers the PBC just did. PBC does not get the same ratings as UFC despite spending far more money on their cards and purses then the UFC does for their smaller cards that they dont send to PPV.Wilder does decent on Fox.
