Guerrero was taking some heavy shots especially those uppercuts. He just seemed unmotivated, and was taking the same punch way too many times. Figueroa gets beat by elite welterweights though IMO.

Great point. Looking through Boxrec's top welter list, I don't see anyone that I consider head and shoulder's above the others. With another good win Thurman and Spence push themselves closer to "elite".

Boxrec has The Hornet at number 1 and Pac Man at number 3 lol

Ghost hasnt been decent in yrs. Fight didnt surprise me at all really. Hopefully omar stays busy now and we see what he can really do. Imo ghost has always been overrated to be honest. Good guy though it seems

agreed. Elite is a very overused word nowadays. And ww while a very solid division has been ovverated as well. Ppl just repeating what they are told as usual. Good post

Damn Guerrero is done nothing more than a gate keeper at this point. It would be in his best interest to just hang them up, Berto would get him in a rematch lol.

man, guerrero reaction to the shots he got hit with was bizarre. very weird. i think he had his eyes closed and was flinching on punches that werent coming or something. but omar definitely hurt him with those no look hooks and uppers. i actually thought omar wouldnt take a 147 lbs punch. omar still gets hit too much and his style is going to cut his career short.
