Based on eubanks performance today...does anybody actually think that eubank jr. can have any success in the wbbs? Obviously his youthful speed was enough to out flurry an AA that even at his best was more of a power hitting plugger but against the younger hungrier undefeated lions going into this tourny? Against an aggressive groves who has some pretty decent pop and a fairly iron will? Im not sure todays performance did anything to improve his odds.

It doesn't do anything at all but degale has went life and death his last 3 fights and arguably lost all of them, Eubank is young and untouched he can very well win this.

Degale isnt in the series...and if he was i wouldnt back him either. As for eubank being young and untouched...thats true...but he also has very limited experience...especially at supermiddle. I dont think he has the power to stop anyone and in a tournament of this magnitude i dont expect he will recieve any favours by just looking pretty. He cant pitty pat and stand back and admire his work. Hes going to have to commit himself.

I give him a good chance of coming out the winner in the tournament if it wasn't for Callum Smith also being there.

Eubank's still a bit raw but seeks to have a deep gas tank, a good chin, goes to the body and has a mean uppercut. With those qualities you can afford to be a bit raw and still get things done. Between him and Groves I see him taking Groves into deep waters and stopping him late.

Groves still has a less than desirable chin and gases badly after 6 rounds.

Nice performance from Chris Eubank Jr., he did everything expected of him. Didn't stop Arthur Abraham but was hurting him at will. Anything positive Arthur did was met with a barrage of punishing shots. This Avni Yildirim, on YouTube, looks like a similar type of fighter to Abraham. Just has a more explosive attack and unproven chin. Eubank Jr. should progess into the semi finals in a fan friendly fight. Makes me laugh how the general fans hate on him same as they did his father. There's no telling how far he will go.

Beating short arm arab Abe isn't much by Eubie still won a fight

Arab Abe is a 4 inch jab shirt stub not much of a foe for any contender. Abe the arab has had a smoke and mirror career of nothing but fake fraud and jokes. Now let's all see what the underachieving Eubanks can actually do. Expect little but hot belly gas and rectum talk from Eubie. Arab Abe can go back to tending goats and eating figs in the sand and tent living.

Ok, good job beating someone who wasn't even good enough to beat the elite in the division 7 years ago. Now what?

Jr is obviously flawed but he would beat groves just on output alone.
Groves gasses every single fight and tbh is not exactly prime groves is he?

Eubanks would TKO him late on in the 10 or 11th.
