Barrera is a blevel fighter, obviously Smith was a hypejob. Barrera is like a lhw Danny Jacobs,good but not exceptional.(too many weaknesses on defense 4 both)That said it shows just how good Ward is as ive been saying from day 1 when so many would hate on him & say hes fought bums then worship smith/kovalev as if their resumes were even equal to wards.

I would love to see Smith fight Kov as itd be a brawl. I'd love Barrera to fight protected Stevenson, but Ward should 1st. Any of those fights would be great 4 vegas,but Stevenson vs Ward would be a hit. Ward shouldn't move up theres too many good fighters at lhw.

Smith/kovalev needs to go into survival beast mode & beat Beterbiev or hell become irrelevant fast. Beterbiev needs to step up & try to become mandatory 4 Stevenson or hell be left in back of line 4 title shot.

Actually just checked & Beterbiev can become mandatory 4 ward with 1 more win vs Koelling supposedly this month,but its not listed on boxrec. Ward vs Beterbiev would be a much better fight than v Kov, this will be a war 4 sure,ward might get dropped even,who knows.
