Szpilka looked bloody awful. Hands down, no game plan, looked like he wasn't interested in being there.

Szpilka just doesn't have it. He's mentally weak, always has been. Never liked that buffoon.

      Good riddance.

The fans were booing Szpilka before the fight started. I thought both Polish guys would get a good reception...

As for Szpilka, he got stopped because he got in the ring thinking he was the superior fighter. He fought like a guy that thought he had arrived after giving a trinket holder a tougher than expected fight. And having faced far superior competition than a guy making his 10rd debut. Szpilka ain't good enough to think he's gonna walk through anybody. Glad his arrogance got his ass handed to him.
That is what I thought. Szpilka landed some good shots & looked in great shape but several times during that fight he dropped his hands showing off like to say "bring it". Well Kownacki did just that & made Szpilka pay for it. Szpilka does not have the chin to be doing that as he has been on the canvas many times throughout his career. He is still a decent fighter but you are right about his arrogance catching up with him. He looked passed Kownacki tonight in my opinion & he got stopped because of it. Kownacki throws a lot of punches like Jarrell Miller but he leaves himself open to get hit. He is a guy I would like to see fight again. That was the 4th time I seen him fight. A guy with a better chin than Szpilka may counter this guy & we will see how well he takes a punch. Kownacki is a fighter to keep our eyes on. Szpilka really set himself back losing this fight...

I won't say he didn't look interested but I think he thought he was the better fighter. I don't think he took Kownacki seriously that is why he kept dropping his hands & showboating. He did that in the 3rd round & 4th round. In the 4th as soon as he dropped his hands Kownacki was waiting & dropped him. I think Szpilka thought this was going to be a cake walk.
