Now Beterbiev is without a fight since the Koeling fight is falling apart. Barrera is fighting Joe Smith probably for a higher purse and will probably win.

Beterbiev being a boxer knows fair well Barrera would never accept such a measly purse, especially since he has plenty of options and fought Ward for $450,000. $62,400 is ridiculous and Beterbiev would've probably declined if he was in the same position. Beterbiev beating Barrera would've upped his profile and he knows it, but his promoter was too much of a pu$$y to take the risk, which is why we are where we are right now.
