Boxers have zero wrestling experience. MMA fighters have a decent level of boxing (though obviously nowhere near as good as a pro boxer of any standard).

McGegor isnt coming into to this as clueless in boxing as, say, James Toney was on the ground.

It will probably go a few rounds just due to Floyds cautious nature and the size difference.

People don't understand how either sport works when you say MMA is more real than boxing. Boxing is a sport where the most elite of the elite in pugalistic combat do battle at the pinnacle of the sport.

That is why the top of the p4p lists are littered with fighters who had extensive amateur experience. This is true throughout most boxing generations.

MMA allows for young adults to become adept at multiple martial arts and compete at a simpler level.

In my opinion its harder to reach an elite level in Boxing but the trade off in having to learn multiple disciplines in MMA is comparable

If he doesn't win in under 15 seconds and Conor doesn't die it won't count...am I doing this right?

              C) UD, win every round, toying with him the entire way with multiple knockdowns in the process (and legitimate KDs, not flash KDs)

Anything else just about and the MMA world will consider it a moral victory. If it's a nondescript, boring UD, they'll see that as a win. If McGregor somehow clearly wins a round, they'll see that as a win. Hell if McGregor just lands one really nice, clean shot they'll consider that a W.

It's a lot to ask for Floyd tonwin by knockout especially early. McGregor has at least shown that he can last 25 minutes in the octagon taking some punishment.

I actually think it would he better for boxing if Floyd toyed with him like Gatti and then knocked him out. Show the talent gap then stop him.

ending someone quickly and suddenly doesnt really put a stamp on the fight.
