  • How do you think I feel with fans stealing the fight on social media, streaming the fight? How do you think my two daughters feel or my two sons feel? That's no different than when I see people on the corner selling bootleg Floyd Mayweather shirts. Sometimes I stop and guess what I say 'you're going to take money out of my kids mouth like that.' That's like me going to your wife's pocketbook and taking the rent money out. I've got a lot of problems, but money is not one of my problems," Mayweather said.

People bootleg his shirts? People do that? Lol

If money ain't a problem then what's the big issue

Anybody still watching streams that are bad quality and buffering are still living in 2010.

There's plenty of ways to do it properly now in good quality with things like Kodi.

          • Maybe they should set the prices at a fair price and people might re-consider streaming.

I don't know about in USA, but i doubt many working class families here in the UK on low pay can just drop about about £75 ($99) on a PPV event that easily. So i'd have to imagine it's the same in USA. Here we pay somewhere between £15-20, i think that's fair enough.

I'm sure they have it all worked out though that x amount of people will buy it regardless of it being $99, so they will hit their target revenue. I understand that, it's just forecasting in business but it really makes it way overpriced for ordinary people.

You can't put a PPV at $99 and expect people not to stream it. $99 is a lot of money to some people. It's just the people making money from these events have no perspective on reality anymore.

anyone whod buy one of those things for more than 50k must love that brand. fnck a celebs name thats attached to it. then again, uber fans are fools and make these $100 jokes possible !
When a car is 1 of 100, logic tells you that it'd hold onto value different than a car like a Camaro that's had mass market production. And that sense, imo, holds even more when you're talking about 1 in 10 vehicles.

Diamonds are rough though; outside of simply having a bag or raw diamonds, once the ***eler does any work, the rocks start losing Banks

For a fight as big as this one, with Showtime/CBS and the UFC both in the pot defending their event, do you honestly believe that streams won't be getting killed all over the internet in advance of the main event?

They're not going to be able to stop every stream, but do you honestly think that they won't be able to kill the known sites?
