If pacquiao a speedster couldnt get his punches thru floyd, i doubt conor will get close to doing that. Have you seen his sparring videos? Hes way too slow even for a past prime floyd.
Saying boxing is easy is proof he has no idea whats going to happen

Lol @ saying they are using flawed logic. It's the same guy, punching the same target with the same speed and same mass. There's no dis*****g the results. Of course that only counts for the flat knuckle impact and most mma guys never hit perfectly square like boxers anyways.

      That's all. Cya.
A heavybag ain't the same as a face. And hitting that spot to sleep a guy is more possible in MMA with those smaller gloves. This sh^t is obvious regardless of what some dorks with a TV show did. I call bs.

I agree the logic is strictly based on a scientific psi test but the dorks are smarter than you and since there's nothing out there that scientifically disputes that study, there really is no way to actually dispute it.

One thing I can tell you is that if a pro boxer were to land a lean shot on an mma guy without his guard up or any head movement, with a boxing glove on, he would go to sleep for more than a just few seconds.

Let's see the scouting report from Paulie Malignaggi and see just how far off Connor really is before making assumptions.

Salka would not KO Connor. He might have the overall ability to beat him but I don't think he has the size or power to KO him.

Logic disputes it. I don't think you are grasping what I'm saying you are focused on what those dorks are doing. I mean think about it if I hit something thats a bigger object (like say a heavybag lol) with two objects of different sizes with the full force of my strength the full force of my strength will be felt by whatever it is I'm hitting somewhere on that object. It doesn't matter how its felt at the top, middle or bottom of it cuz we aren't even measuring that. Its equally distributed among the mass of the object I'm hitting.

Now if I'm hitting something smaller (like a chin) with something bigger & something smaller than a chin (like two different types of gloves) with the full force of my strength the damage being inflicted via the smaller object is going to be more damaging on my target then the bigger object that has a higher degree of difficulty in finding the sweet spot target with the full force of strength being thrown.

Thats what I'm saying. I guess you could even say its less about the padding & more about the mass of the object the padding is in making it distribute the power more (for a MMA glove) or less (for the bigger boxing glove) targeted to that spot that can turn your lights out.

One thing I can tell you is that if a pro boxer were to land a lean shot on an mma guy without his guard up or any head movement, with a boxing glove on, he would go to sleep for more than a just few seconds.
Idk about all that MMA vs boxing stuff & I try to avoid that nuttiness when I can.

I just know if you throw boxers into a fight with MMA gloves more boxers will get their lights turned off & if you throw MMA guys into a fight with boxing gloves less MMA guys will get their lights turned off.

I mean even the couple MMA guys I can think of that I've seen KO'd in boxing don't get their lights turned out, but they sure as sh^t do in MMA.
