paulie's got an entire book of tricks that mcgregor has never seen. he'll show him something completely new every second of every single round. i'd love to get footage of the sparring. all paulie lacks are power and the will to beat connor up. otherwise he'd just knock him into next week. paulie is actually a great choice because he's not powerful or hot headed. the wrong guy could just roll up to sparring looking to take connor's head off and make a name for himself.

then you have the reality that floyd mayweather is an all time great, and paulie was jsut a good, limited fighter from his era. floyd is going to show connor that he has no business even starting a pro boxing career without years of work, nevermind jumping in to fight an aging all time great defensive fighter and technician.

mcgregor better hope floyd breaks both hands. that's literally the only way he wins.

I agree Malignaggi knows a lot about boxing. I disagree he's a hell of a fighter. I couldn't stand his herky/jerky style. All the shimmy and shaking with his hands down was unnecessary.

          I'm sorry. I don't get it.
Do Mayweahter and Malignaggi have personal relationship
other than they have common enemy in Pacquaio?
Why should he get mad? What's the problem?

Very little advantage to sparring Paulie simply because Conor's path to victory will not be by boxing Mayweather, it will be to smother him and maul him on the inside. Perhaps he can practice cutting off the ring with Paulie in an effort to get close to him in the way Maidana did with Floyd. But honestly, it's too little, too late. Conor needed a good five years of boxing to prepare himself for this event. He will get clowned and stopped inside three rounds.

No one can help McGregor so I'm not surprised Mayweather isn't bothered.

Of course Paulie got the call to spar. He's a part of the play. Vince couldn't even script this. That's how well done this skit is.
