Haha Casuals think because Conor is fighting the best that somehow means he belongs in the same ring with Floyd. Someone said earlier there are probably some teenage golden gloves fighters that'll light McGregor up today. That's probably true. Imagine someone like Berto, or any other "name" boxer. 40 year old, inactive Mayweather is gonna make a lot of people feel ****** for spending $100 real soon.

He can condense 30 years of boxing in 8 weeks of training if he trains 24 hours a day without sleep, very possible

Just even thinking that Berto could beat Mayweather, lets me know that you didnt do any homework or even pay attention to my entire comment. Connor would make a mockery of Berto. He would do what Floyd did, but with less defense, a bit more power, and have similar movement.

I really see that as a mismatch. I spoke on the sparring video as well. I said that we dont know if Connor was just sparring fully trained, or just jumping in the ring for the first time from being untrained. I noted that Connor got hit in sparring.

But I felt that, his movement from his mma bouts, and the great punch variation from his sparring bout, after a camp of training, would be beyond EXCELLENT.

Nate did land on Connor. But thats not really the same as doing full boxing camp. He trained to do kicks and wrestle a bit as well. Even his movement in the diaz bout was amazing. Its identical to Floyd's. But a full camp of training BOXING, I think he can do some things and compete in the sport.

I dont see Berto landing anything on Connor tbh. And I can see this fight as Floyd vs a taller, rangier, albeit LESS SKILLED version of himself. Just the movement alone causing problems.

So Im not trying to make it like if Floyd wins, he beat a true fighter. On paper this fight means NOTHING. Im just saying that, its a very tough fight, that if Floyd loses, we all look dumb. And Floyd may be assuming that Connor is going to stand flatfooted and get picked apart. Im hoping the gloves make Connor slower, and the extra rounds makes him tire later on. But I fully know what Floyd is getting into. Im not with the popular narrative that Floyd is fighting some random noob.

Why does he have a UFC coach training him in boxing? I hope he at least has a pro coach of some sort as well.

Exactly. I just dont get how they dont understand its 2 different sports. I believe a teenage golden gloves champion would probably beat him or give him tough fight. Conor would get wrecked by the number 30th ranked fight in the division theres just levels 2 this and it takes YEARSSSSS.

I wonder how many people think a checkers champion can beat a chess champion, or vice-versa, at their respective games, just because they're played on the same board. Lol Floyd would get iced in the octagon, but in the ring he's king.
