Hopkins also fought Taylor there twice, 1 of those times he should've won. Glen Johnson, JDJ, Joppy, all names just as good as Jacobs, but multiple fighters of a high class than Danny. Golovkins resume is stacked with C and C+ fighters. Why are we bringing Hopkins into this anyway? Hopkins has nothing to do with golovkinComment

They even have nerves mentioning double standards.
The guy hasn't fought legit fights for years since Donaire and these idiots are not trashing him like they do GGG.
Tell me why Rigo is not with Haymon?
His contract will end this year. Do you think Haymon or Floyd would sign him?Comment

Vasyl Lomachenko: Rigondeaux Does Not Want To Fight
By Gregroy Stangrit
August 30th, 2015.
27-year-old Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, who holds the WBO world featherweight championship, says WBA/WBO junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba, 34-years-old, has refused to fight him.
Lomachenko says everything was agreed upon, including a rehydration clause on the morning of the fight and then Rigondeaux refused to face him.
"When we started talking to them about a fight in more detail, they put forward different conditions. They demanded the [financial] amount that was required, and we agreed with them about it. They made a demand that on the morning of the fight, my weight does not exceed 62.5 kilograms [135-pounds give or take]. I agreed. But now they tell us that they are not ready to stage this fight, now they do not want to fight," Lomachenko said.Last edited by richardt; 07-14-2017, 10:06 AM.Comment

Don't lie for bob he does that well on his own. We saw that boby pulled loma out of there. Stop kidding. I'm glad team Rigo. put boby & team on blast through social media & now team loma talking smack after the fact they picked a tune up instead of Rigo. So what will be YOUR excuse be if they don't fight in Dec.? Let us know now cuz we all KNOW Rigo. wants this fight. And loma has ALL the advantages.
For me, its the best fight that can be made.. dont get me wrong.
But I'm not an emotional groupie...Comment

But dont get it twisted. Bob is NOT Rigo's promoter. He is under no obligation to pay Rigo what YOU think is fair. He doesnt owe Rigo squat.........Comment

as a former boxer...find it hard to believe u actually think Jacobs did enough to take titles away.....I like Jacobs - but he should have been more aggressive instead of in the words of his trainer - trying to "finesse" his way to a points win. He said GGG power was not all that...he should have engaged more. He had swollen eyes after the fight...GGG didn't have a mark on him.Comment
-
oh ok...that makes sense - and Jacobs has the most powerful advisor in boxing in Haymon. Nice conspiracy theory. Jacobs own fault for trying to "finesse" his way to a points win.Comment

I gotta agree with you guys on this one. Moreover, GGG actually creates excitement in the ring and is entertaining to watch while the only way Rigo can KO anyone with a pulse is to foul his ass off like against Flores. It's totally a double standard. Rigondeaux seems to have a nasty attitude and a real chip on his shoulder where he thinks he's always the A side and everyone should roll out the red carpet for him. His incredible boxing ability cannot be denied but he's just not a ticket seller and still needs to prove his worth. His last 2 fights haven't proved that he is a top level money maker since he KO'd a British level fighter in Jazza ****ens and fouled his way to an eventual NC against a more legit opponent in Flores.Comment
