Everyone knows in boxing someone who can punch has a punchers chance. It could be 1 in a million chance, but its a chance. Now will McGregor land that leprechaun lucky punch? Most probably not. The thing is without that pubchers gloves. His punchers chance is not even 1 in a million. Its non existent. And that is why floyd covered all bases. No way in hell floyd will lose. Not even with McGregor landing that lucky punch. With floyd's pillow glove of choice. Mc Gregor is going in with all the disadvantages stacked up against him,

That's the beauty of this scam fight. Mismatch written all over it. Floyd made it to safe. He made sure he wont lose to a novice.

Punchers gloves is more fan BS and media terminology , go get hit with your non punchers glove and then talk your bs, I guarantee you that you would not know one glove from another, they would all flatten you.

You really need to have a go at the sport because your noviceness comes through like a neon sign.

Exactly. Thank you for schooling that moron. So many have already said these things.

        1. No such thing as puncher's glove.
        2. A few ounces won't make a difference. If the guy can crack, he can crack.

He single handedly wrecked your whole thread!

        Poor Spoon23. You DKSAB!

            And one more:

            1. No such thing as punchers gloves.
            2. Gloves that use horse hair, if not made properly, can be dangerous because the hair relocates instead of returning to it's original position.
            3. Gloves should protect the fighters' hands and ensure that the fighters are not hitting each other with their knuckles.
            4. This guy (trainer and cutman that worked with Jean Pascal) protested the Everlast MX gloves about 3 MONTHS BEFORE the Mayweather/Maidana fight.

Poor Spoon23. Always proving that he DKSAB

              Lol

Tell that to Floyd. Who wanted no mexican horse hair boxinmg gloves for McGregor. Now tell me, who should I believe it's relevance. Floyd who is a seasoned boxer with experience for him to avoid McGregor wearing this gloves or you who thinks it's not important?

Your hero Froid roid wanted this stipultion. Think hard why he wanted it. It's not for esthetics kid. It's to gain advantage doe

              # know your boxing

              # common sense is not that common to fl0mos

Conor says: ' Up in the stage (Floyd) he was saying we can do 8oz, we can do 4oz, well hold on, you were crying in there that the gloves have to be 10oz. It couldn't be gloves made from mexico. They couldn't be mexican made gloves. They couldn't be gloves made of horse hair. I didn't even know there are gloves made of horse hair. We were only wearing gloves a couple of years in our game. I don't even need gloves to have a fight. So it was all just amusing to me what was going on. He was talking up there that will do 4oz, do this and do that. It's like let's do it then. And again he was saying he'll do MMA after. He'll fight me MMA after? Don't talk stuff you never deal until you step over to this game.

Floyd uses his A-side leverage to demand the fight at 154 (this is a fact confirmed by both camps). This ensured a 10oz glove mandatory.
During the build-up to the fight, Floyd boasts that he's now okay with smaller gloves. He's been a vegas boxer for a minute. He knows full-well that the average fan has zero idea that this is just a way to save face from having to admit that he preferred Conor at 154 in 10 oz gloves.
This much should be obvious to anyone paying the remotest of attention to Floyd's 'money' phase of his career. He's shoring up any doubt with smoke & mirrors.

Remember in '09 when he was headed to jail, and demanded a date within three months w pacquiao, calling him a punk. All the while knowing that PAC had his next fight lined up, and the short window didn't allow for a proper negotiation.
Floyd is a master at strengthening his weaknesses.

Wasn't McGregor's side asking for the fight at 152?

"But I will be pushing that he fought Canelo at 152, so he should fight Conor at 152."

Pretty sure that there would be more complaints if he wanted to fight at 147, right Spoon?

                    # and that is why this fight is a joke and another daylight robbery.

                      I get it.

Floyd fights him at 154 - the gloves are too big doe.

Floyd fights him at 147 - Connor was drained doe.

I like the Pac story you brought up. Was that when Pac's cuts would need 6 months to heal? And they were gonna heal in time for a Marquez fight but not for a Floyd fight?
