22million shouldn't be drama for someone that rich, unless, as Floyd in fact has admitted, you gave no liquid assets worth that value.
In corporate and personal insolvency you see rich people do this all the time. Those condos you are renting out downtown won't pay your cash taxes.
Floyd would have to liquidate his assets to pay that bill, quite possibly meaning selling them at a loss as I assume he's in the development (profit) business and is in it for long term return.
That said, he can easily pay it, and the additional taxes due, from his Conor money. It's 40m gone but it's okay. So he isn't going to be the net Tyson. However, I am indeed insinuating that he was forced to take this fight for financial reasons which is hella ironic and humiliating for the self proclaimed business genius. Also it doesn't bode well for his chances that he's only stepped in for a payday.Comment

All I know is that Floyd is in that upper income tax bracket and if he doesn't learn how to give some of his money away to charities, then he will always have tax issues and owe the U.S. government money. Rich people usually have a tendency of giving very large and substantial portions of their estate away in order to keep the IRS off their backs by using them as deductibles and tax write offs.Comment

Floyd just not that liquid not a big deal........
He'll cover his bill. I understand not having large amounts of cash just laying around. Probable just keeps about $5-10 mil on hand. He's putting his money to work. When Floyd makes $100 mil he'll get to take home $40 mil give or take after paying 2015/2017 taxes so Mayweather will be fine.Comment
