Manny Pacquiao is my favorite fighter right now. He is a go for broke, never say die warrior who fights the best, and fights them again if he has to. He has a very exciting style, a solid beard and is the best fighter P4P under welterweight.

Currently I'm backing Calazaghe, Pacquiao, and Mayweather. I'm also hoping B-Hop will beat Tarver and Wlad will sort out the heavies.

All time favourites are; Ali, Foreman, Lamotta, Frazier, Dempsey, Marciano, Robinson.

I try to find a way to like every boxer. Some make it a little harder to like outside the ring, but the goods ones can at least get respect from what they do in the ring. I guess the ones who can handle themselves inside and outside the ring the best are the ones I like the most though.

Fighters like Gatti, Oscar, etc…. Back in the day I liked fighters like Terry Norris and Buddy McGirt. Roy Jones, while ****y as hell, he always had an admirable way about himself.

Sergio Mora. I love the contender. He's got quick handspeed and decent skills. I like him because i like the way he presents himself - He's a good guy outside the ring who's pretty smart and reads a lot - inside the ring, he's a featherfisted but lightning puncher with a ****y attitude.

I never said he was the best, so please no 'Sergio Mora sucks' posts. I never said he was that good. Rinse and Repeat.

I also like Bhop and Hatton.

All time favorite....Ali. He was the first fighter I ever saw in the ring or being interviewed on TV. Been a fan of his and a fan of boxing ever since.

I was a big fan of James Toney when he was fighting at middleweight and super-middle and still appreciate him; but can't take him seriously at heavy.

Jones Jr. was also a favorite fighter of mine, I just got frustrated by the lack of competition in his fights. I like seeing two guys equally skilled trying to best each other, not one guy dominating all the time.

Pernell Whittaker was another guy I loved to watch...pure artistry that guy.

Barrera is a figher I really appreciate as was Johnny Tapia....though, in retrospect, those two never should have fought...what a dog of a fight.

Loved Rid**** Bowe; but he left me disapointed after he won the title.....Douglas did too; but I understand in his case. He wasn't supposed to be great; but was for one fight at least.

As far as a fighter right now who's active that I'm a HUGE fan of....there isn't one. There are fighters I respect and appreciate and there are a few that I can't stand; but no one fighter stands out enough to make me a huge fan of his.

No one currently active particularly inspires me.

Other fighters from the past that I always enjoyed watching:

                Marvin Hagler
                Sugar Ray Leonard
                Thomas Hearns
                Roberto Duran
                Nigel Benn
                Zack Padilla
                Michael Carbajal
                Julio Caesar Chavez
                Meldrick Taylor
                Roger Mayweather
                Bert Cooper....when he was on
                Ray Mercer
                Tommy Morrison
Bruce Seldon....early in his career...before Bowe
                Harold Brazier
                Kevin Pompey
                Tyrone Trice

....I'm sure there are others; but you get the idea.

oh yeah...and Mike Tyson; but that's pretty much a given with anyone.

Larry Holmes would have been on this list; but I never saw him fight live....we didn't have cable when I was growing up and I didn't spend alot of time inside on the weekends when he usualy fought on network TV.

HaHA!!! NO! I mean like when he fought Ray Mercer, Loren Ross, Michael Moorer, and Joe Hipp....and a few others. Coop was one of those guys who was either on or off. If he was off...aka probably "on"...he ******; but if he decided to fight, whoever he got in the ring with was in for a long night. He had a helluva lot of talent and skill...his problem was the "boxing is 90% mental" part.
