This is such a ****** non-story, lmao. Do some of y'all really think that Pacquiao won't pay this guy?

He'll get paid. Every penny. And believe me it ain't like Freddie is gonna starve in the meantime. Do you guys know how much money he has in his bank account purely off the Pacquiao pay alone?? The guy has been very well paid. Absurdly at that.

I personally don't, but the man has an illness that requires serious medical care, welching on a paycheck is BS in any situation, but to short Roach, your trainer of 10 years who really needs the money is horrible.

Manny talks about the health of boxing, the trust of the public, and while he is doing that, he is acting every bit as sleazy as Arum is.

Then again, Mabye Manny felt the fight was fixed, and suspected that Roach KNEW about it, if that was the case, I would have acted the same way fellas
dont be jumping into conclusion. my guess is pac prolly hasnt even been paid yet himself so how can he pay freddie? lol.

Why is it a matter of time?

Manny got paid on the spot after the fight, I know banks are not open on the weekends, but he easily could tell Arum to pay roach, and take it out of his check, not that difficult. Or, Manny could have paid Roach out of that 7 figure advance for the fight he traditionally gets.

Or Manny could have wire transferred cash to roaches account on Monday.

Roach gets a nice fee, if Manny was tired of paying it, he should have fired him before taking the fight.

There is no excuse Roach to not have been paid that night, or shortly thereafter.

You don't know boxing, fighters are paid directly after the fight in the form of a commission check.

There's true Pacquiao fans, that love Manny, and then there are those who defend Bob Arum and Top Rank as an extension (they also hate Al Haymon for no other reason, but for being an extension of Floyd) of Manny. I think after the Horn fight, people are starting to see the dark side of Top Rank. I just pointed this out someone yesterday, regarding TR's shady practices with Mikey Garcia:

                January 27, 2017:

Garcia was on the track to becoming a superstar in the sport, but there was an underlying problem brewing that would eventually derail his career.

"I started to notice a pattern in the way the negotiations would go down [with Top Rank] after I beat Orlando Salido," Garcia said.

Garcia claimed that Top Rank would not pay him the full negotiated amount after several fights, saying his opponents were to blame for a reduced purse.

"It was always a fight with them. I took a $100,000 pay cut on the Rocky Martinez fight, and I got about $150,000 less than what I was promised for the next fight. It started to add up," Garcia said.

You may very well be correct, that Manny hasn't been paid, or paid properly! He might not have been paid properly for some time now. Already there seems to be a dispute regarding whether the Horn fight was the final fight of the contract! This tactic is not new either! This from the same article above:

While Garcia was unhappy with Top Rank, he figured his contract with the company would expire on Feb. 27, 2014, and he would be able to sign elsewhere. Top Rank, however, told him his contract automatically renewed following a title win or a successful title defense, which Garcia said would indefinitely keep him under an outdated deal he signed in 2009

It's only been 2 weeks. Large sums of money takes a little while to transfer to another person's account.

That's f**king disgusting. That's why you better have some damn good lawyers looking over that contract and every single thing in the fine print. SEVERAL times.

An "automatic" renewal with a title win or defense, lmao. So basically Mikey had to lose on purpose in a damn title fight to get out from underneath Bob
