There's true Pacquiao fans, that love Manny, and then there are those who defend Bob Arum and Top Rank as an extension (they also hate Al Haymon for no other reason, but for being an extension of Floyd) of Manny. I think after the Horn fight, people are starting to see the dark side of Top Rank. I just pointed this out someone yesterday, regarding TR's shady practices with Mikey Garcia:

January 27, 2017:

Garcia was on the track to becoming a superstar in the sport, but there was an underlying problem brewing that would eventually derail his career.

"I started to notice a pattern in the way the negotiations would go down [with Top Rank] after I beat Orlando Salido," Garcia said.

Garcia claimed that Top Rank would not pay him the full negotiated amount after several fights, saying his opponents were to blame for a reduced purse.

"It was always a fight with them. I took a $100,000 pay cut on the Rocky Martinez fight, and I got about $150,000 less than what I was promised for the next fight. It started to add up," Garcia said.

You may very well be correct, that Manny hasn't been paid, or paid properly! He might not have been paid properly for some time now. Already there seems to be a dispute regarding whether the Horn fight was the final fight of the contract! This tactic is not new either! This from the same article above:

The difference is Haymon has helped Floyd become the highest paid athlete in the world! People actually hate Haymon for how well he pays his fighters, yet they applaud Manny for staying with Arum! I wonder what Manny would've made with Haymon?

When you look at Manny's corner during this fight he has three people talking in his ear at once. The assistant coach and cut man needs to STFU and let Freddie do the talking. That's on Manny though, he needs to tell his corner who should talk and who should carry the bucket. Get some control.

Freddie also needs to decide which side of the fence he is on. You can't say Pac got robbed out of one side of your mouth, and then say that you didn't have a good training camp and Pac needs to consider retiring out the other side of your mouth. Pick one! The fact that he never got on the ref for all of Horn's fouls and dirty tactics is another critical part of his job that he failed to perform. Trainers like Futch, Dundee, Stewert, would have been on that ref from the word go.

I can see a parting of the ways between Roach and Pac, and if Pac truly wants to continue fighting at his best, he needs to commit to a serious training camp longer than six weeks and get a trainer who will put their foot down and scatter the entourage so he can work without distractions.
