I'm a much bigger GGG fan than Ward but I have no problems admitting that Ward has a better resume and would beat him head to head. Feel free to look at my post history but I gave Ward his props for Kovalev 2. I actually said the first fight was a favorite mega fight of mine in recent years. It was a good tactical fight.

But I hate how Ward fans can't admit he doesn't have the style to attract a rabid fanbase like a GGG or Pacquiao. You can appreciate him and still admit he doesn't have a style that is going to bring in new fans. I love Rigo, but I don't try and get people to watch him with me because I know he is too much of a scientist for casuals to appreciate.

I also hate how Ward fans can't accept that he comes across as a diva outside the ring. He's not outwardly ****y but he's not as humble as he talks. He seems to have an attitude that boxing owes him more just because he's so talented. Yet he refuses to look at the facts that he doesn't sell very well and is unwilling to go the Mayweather route and be an actual villain if he wants to make that money.

And lastly I hate how Racist most Ward fans are. They act like anyone who isn't a Ward fan must have a hood in their closet. They just can't accept that Ward isn't the most exciting fighter in the world and call everyone who dislikes him a klan member. Yet many of the people who love GGG also love guys like Spence and Tank, because they love action fighters. I'll gladly give Ward his props and admit he has a place in history, but there's just as many insecure Ward fans as there are insecure GGG fans.

Do you realize how terrible that sounds "hes not as humble as he talks" and "hes unwilling to go the mayweather route"?

IF Ward went the "mayweather route" we'd hear how its a "tired act we've already seen" and that hes a "mayweather knockoff"....this attitude is exactly why ward has the attitude he does. He has done things the right way and remained quiet. And just taken care of business. But still cant get love. This is why he talks and acts the way he does sometimes because no matter what he does people arent happy or wont accept things.

His style isnt fan friendly. Nobody has a problem admitting that. Ward just wants some appreciation. Even after his win the boards all over the net are flooded with insanely jealous people who still cant believe they were wrong even if you have given him his due.

If people cant appreciate what Ward and Rigo bring to boxing I dont want to put those people on to boxing. Boxing has different styles of fighters. Different levels. I appreciate them all. I for one appreciate watching an A or A+ level fighter make it look easy against a world class opponent.
