It looks basic to you, and probably to some others watching it on film. Then when they get in the ring with him it's a much more difficult style to overcome. Happens often, people just can't see subtle things that make a fighter very difficult.
No offense, but if you have nothing besides "it looks basics to you because you can't see subtle things" to add, don't bother commenting because nobody will ever see any value in such an idiotic comment.
