He had a weight problem and couldnt make 140. Seems like a very good reason to,me. You are what you are and broner is a welterweight. Even if he makes weight here its because he needs tge money and cant afford the fines. But either way he is gonna lose to the better all around fighter

I saw the maidana vs mikey sparring maidana was not going 100%! He obviously would not beat up his trainers little brother! Sparring is for working!
To simply think that Mikey would get washed, by Maidana or Porter in a real fight is hilarious

I disagree with you on that.
Broner has blown up all the way to 180 pounds in between fights. Im willing to bet Mikey don't blow up that big in between fights.
I disagree that Broner is a natural 140 pound fighter. He's gotta fight at that weight cause he's proven that he don't carry his power up to welterweight. So he'll get beat by any A and B level welterweight out there. So he has no choice but to fight at 140 pounds in order to dominate the smaller guys. With that being said its no different than what Canelo was doing milking down to 154 in order to beat smaller guys. You bashed Canelo plenty of times Jason for milking down to 154 in order to beat smaller guys. So don't be a hypocrite now and say Broner is a natural 140 pound fighter cause we both know he's not.
But your right, I'll agree with you that I won't be surprised either if Broner wins. I said it last week that it's definitely worth dropping some money on Broner if he's a 4-1 underdog.

But you seem to forget that Broner moved up 2 weight classes to fight cheno....the Porter fight was close & he did drop him late in the fight.

The weight Broner gains is soft weight (out of shape weight), not muscle....He has to be careful when he retires cuz he don't want to end up like his father....

do you have any proof broner has gone up to 180? I have never seen him that big! 170 is the max maybe!

Well Broner was already a champion at 147 when he fought Maidana. He didn't jump up two divisions and went straight for Maidana. He was the champion when they fought.

Chances are he will get like his dad. He's not very committed to staying in shape. He's already missed weight in a few of his fights.
I think Broner is a talented fighter but I just don't think he has the will/motivation/drive to be great.
