maidana and mikey have likely sparred tons of rounds against each other, so i'd watch the definitiveness of your statement.

Still, salido, juanma, roman martinez, and zlaticanin were all good fighters when mikey fought them, among others.

do you know what sparring is man? You wear like 18 oz gloves with big ass head gear and a outer nut shield! In a real fight you wear 8 oz gloves with no head gear! Do you think mikey has ever faced anyone as big and strong as porter and maidana in a real boxing ring??? Not sparring thats not a real fight! I saw the maidana vs mikey sparring maidana was not going 100%! He obviously would not beat up his trainers little brother! Sparring is for working!

jason, i think it's a conversation not worth having. I don't even know why broner even brings that up. Obviously maidana and porter are too big for mikey. I think porter used to fight as a 160 pounder in the amateurs. Mikey has never fought above 138. It's dumb for broner to even mention that.

broner is also a natural 140 pounder! But he has too much heart for his own good! He had no reason to move up and fight porter and maidana but he did! Im rooting for mikey in this fight but i wont be surprised at all if broner wins!

dude go watch those sparring sessions on esnews! They are not going 100%! Plus they are wearing headear and 16 or 18 oz gloves! Maidana would not take it 100% and beat up his trainers little brother lol! Maidana was just working its obvious! If maidana landed on mikey with 8 oz gloves like he did on broner and floyd mikey would be asleep for a minute or 2 like dejan zlaticanin was! Thats my point! Sparring with 16 oz gloves and head gear is not the same as 8oz glovez landing on your chin! Mikey got dropped by roman martinez and hurt by burgos! What do you think maidana and porter would do to mikeys little chin in a real fight? They would demolish him! im still rooting for mikey to win but wont be surprised if broner wins
