Stevenson was ready to put his title up in your home town.

Didn't Stevenson's promoter say that they were trying to act like they were the A-side for this fight?
yes he also said they wanted a rematch clause..sources confirmed this to me..and joe's team will not speak on it..hence him saying idkwhy

It's unreal how Stevenson manages to avoid everybody.

He's making money and avoiding risks so I get it but he has no credibility as a champ

Smith's management ducked a title shot on their turf, end of story. Good business decision especially in the bias boxing world where fighters are not held to the same standards.

Smith is a big risk, but the Alvarez fight is just as dangerous for Stevenson the piece of s*** so I can't say he ducked Smith.

The way I see it Smith's camp just made demand after demand until the Stevenson camp finally said screw you! Smith didn't want that fight!

Let's face the facts boys and girls, Stevenson is a killing machine... the man is fast, accurate and probably the biggest puncher in boxing right now.

            Seriously who's afraid of who?

The only reason the Stevenson-Alvarez fight hasn't happen yet is because both fighters have the same manager/promoter (GYM : Groupe Yvon Michel).

Alvarez is 23-0, obviously his value would go down after a loss. The people at GYM know this and this explains why they are reluctant to make the fight.

Superman will most probably retire in the next two years... GYM would be ****** to have Stevenson face Alvarez... Better off preserving his clean sheet.

On top of it, Alverez doesn't have much of a fan base yet... He basically brings little to the table. It a loose loose situation... Alvarez would loose and Stevenson would win against a small name...

If I was GYM, I wouldn't make that fight until one of them lost.

Smith has a nice record... he's beaten no one except for Fonfara and an old man twice his age.

I totally hear what you're saying. I think they have built up Alvarez real well in his last 2 fights with big wins over name opponents to really get the publics attention.
