yeah the fight was practically signed than they demanded an automatic rematch in new york if smith lost and stevensons tea said no but they'd sign the fight for a one off and smiths team said no. Usually CHAMPS ask for automatic rematches not random contenders wit no fan base. stevenson is old and doesnt fight often enough two fights vs Smth would have him critized anyway

that is true but with the case of Smith his promoters demanded an automatic rematch in New york. this is like when fighters fight a basic fight and demand millions for it and the promoters say no. the promoters get **** from fans. the outlandish demands are a way of ducking.

Smith needs to stop looking backwards though, or he'll find himself on his ass. Barrera is arguably a tougher challenge than Stevenson.

Not arguable at all. Pretty silly actually !

We can all agree that Stevenson, whether it's because he's hedging or simply due to circumstances, hasn't fought the best competition.

But let's not exaggerate and attempt to marginalize his skill set just because we're frustrated with him. The guy is the real deal.

In life, when dealing with public sanitation, one land fill for all the garbage may seem like the smart, easy and convenient option apon initial consideration.
