Canelo is a great fighter, but when you bring up a Pirog fight from 7 years ago, it's a stretch just like the Jose Cotto fight.

Canelo only KO's above 147 have all been suspect. Kirkland was out 18 months and had to drop from 200 pounds to make weight. Ishida skunked a more durable version of Kirkland.

1000% agree I know Jacobs is GOOD but not great. He fights like he did against GGG he will be ok. He doesn't??? I'll bet he gets knocked down again or TKO'd.

And has a Khan Chin... On paper Jacobs has more power. But in a fight they hit each other their hardest??? Double KO. Or most likely Canelo gets Bambi-legged BIG TIME and Jacobs goes nite-nite.

Jacobs had a good chin vs GGG, he wasn't drained at the weight for once as he cheated by missing the IBF same day weigh in and he probably trained harder for his career fight than any other and did a ton of neck strengthening

But mainly because he opted out of the same day weigh in so he could come in overweight which is pretty much cheating, still I like Jacobs but I think in a fair fight GGG knocks him out

This should be an awesome fight. Two guys who are all action, but both really good technically.

Jacobs is a different class to Chavez Jr and way bigger and more powerful than Floyd, he came in overweight vs GGG too

Canelo is a good fighter but he's not great in my opinion
