    • the Jeopardy dork Greisman:

Writes a whole escapade about Floyd's Career run with taxes... the dork doesn't realize that Floyd fans feed off of this because he's paying off the 2015 to BEAT THe Irishman.

people don'T see the humor in that?!

How did he manage to get himself in a hole like this, with all his wealth?
i think we are missing the story! a lot of rich people ask for extensions on their tax bills! trump has been doing this for decades! if you read the full article it says he did this before! he owed $6.7 million and in the end settled with the irs for $5 million! this is exactly the playbook trump uses to lower his tax bill! if he owes 20 million after a few months of back and forth with his lawyers i expect the irs to bring that down to 17 or 18 million and floyd will come out 2 million ahead! this is a strategy! to save some on a big tax bill! when you can hire good tax lawyers you can afford to sue the IRS and make a settlement! i have read so many article about trump doing this and suing the irs!

Mayweather has filed a petition with the United States Tax Court saying much of his money is tied up and cannot be easily converted into cash, and asking for a short-term installment agreement allowing him more time to get the cash, according to Bryan Koenig of Law360. (Paul Gift of BloodyElbow.com also tweeted about the filing.)

and the IRS are not happy, because Mayweather could simply withdraw the money from another account..... but nah, they can wait

you must be joking lmfao! Trump has been doing this for decades! He sues the irs anytime he doesnt like his huge tax bill! Then they settle in the end for a few million less than the bill and he walks away with a discount! Did you read the full article? At the bottom it said the same about mayweather! In 2011 he owed $6.7 million but he setteled with the irs and paid a $5million payment! If my basic math is correct he saved $1.7 million on his tax bill! Its not that complicated! This is a strategy rich people use every day of the year!

this is the trump blueprint and floyd has used it before like the article states! In 2011 mayweather owed $6.7 million and settled for $5million! Thats a 1.7 million discount from the irs that most people dont get! He is doing the same thing again! If he owes $20 million the irs will lower it to 17 or 18 million and mayweather will pay the full thing in cash! Saving him another $ 2 million! This has been going on for ages! This is a strategy some rich/greedy people like the trumps and the mayweathers and countless others use! Our president trump sues the irs anytime he doesnt like his tax bill! In the end he settles and pays a smaller amount and saves a few million for jet fuel money!

                    • Standard procedure for the super rich, hence there is a history of Floyd owing taxes through his career on multiple occasions. Saving 1-2 mill each time is not to be sniffed at, that's still a lot of money.
