Comments Thread For: Marquez: Pacquiao Made Mistake By Not Stopping Horn in 10th

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez knows Manny Pacquiao very well. He faced the Filipino superstar four times - going 1-2-1 in their four fight series. His two decision losses to Pacquiao were both viewed as controversial. In their fourth and final meeting in 2012, Marquez connected with a huge counter that knocked Pacquiao out cold in the sixth round.

Juan had Manny by 4 points? He must've been swayed by that Teddy Atlas bias, Juan DKSAB

To be fair to Pacman, I'm not sure he appreciated how close the ref was to stopping the fight. If he had known, part of me wants to believe that he would've charged at Horn at the opening of the 10th with the hopes of pressuring the ref to stop it.

But yes, in hindsight Pacquiao let Jeff Horn back into the fight enough in the last 3 rounds to put the fight into debatable territory even though he didn't need to do that.

Marquez reflection represents the majority including Stephen A Smith and Atlas. Maybe Marquez should be banned from the ESPN Deportes broadcast by the Horn people.

Its not that he did not finished Horn in 10th, but he could not do it because he's old and lack stamina to do it, but then Horn did not win the fight although Pac lost. "peeleft:
