Comments Thread For: Canelo: I'd Love To Face Mayweather, It Would Be Much Different!

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) would love the opportunity to avenge his only career defeat. The Mexican superstar is preparing for his hugely anticipated bout with IBO, IBF, WBA, WBC middleweight king Gennady Golovkin on September 16, but is intent on one day getting the chance to face and beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs) in order to even up the only blemish in the loss column of his pro record.

Nothing different. He made you look like an amateur the first time and would do It again.

mayweather had alvareds feet tangled up all fight long and smacked him upside his head whenever he wanted to. no need for a rematch. now if lil G wins then maybe money vs golovkin. (TMT)

You had your chance buddy. The 40 year old soon to be 41 year old Mayweather ain't fighting anymore after the McGregor fight. Sorry Cinnamon, you have to live with that loss.

It would be a little different not much because the one thing your lacking and Floyd saw from day 1 is foot speed

He will always wait for you to plant your feet counter and get far away you have to re set and follow again repeat all night you still lose 8/4

If Canelo beats Golovkin and Mayweather beats McGregor, why not?
