My first comment after the fight I said that Atlas was worse than Lampley. I knew it would largely be because of his mouth and ranting that those watching ESPN a.k.a the casual fans would all be up in arms that it was a robbery

What Atlas was doing is called "cooning" he and Stephen A were cooning hard for Pacquiao and if you don't know why you being ignorant. It's called the ESPN-Top Rank deal they just signed. They trying to compete with PBC on network television and their cash cow already took an L in their first fight! They called that fight in the interest of ESPN, make no mistake about it!

        But it's not just casuals.

Off the top of my head -- Joel Diaz, Juan Manuel Marquez, Erik Morales, Andre Berto, Robert Garcia, Abner Mares, Billy Joe Saunders, Claressa Shields, Errol Spence, Sergio Mora, Ray Beltran, Devon Alexander, Chris Eubank Jr, Lennox Lewis, Lou DiBella, Gabe Rosado, Cornelius Bundrage, Guillermo Rigondeaux.

All scored the fight for Pacquiao.

Do you think these people, who are in the sport, were swayed by Teddy Atlas' commentary?

Yes I do, especially if they watched ESPN. My first question would be how can you call a close competitive fight a robbery?

Yes or No, was Atlas extremely biased toward Pacquiao during the fight? And I don't just mean the post fight ranting....throughout the entire fight he never called ONE landed punch for Jeff Horn!! I am not exaggerating, I kid you not, he refused to acknowledge anything Horn did and whenever Bradley tried to say something good about Horn, Atlas shut him down and shut him up! There is no place for that level of bias from any commentator in this sport!

Regardless of his score, Teddy's commentary was terrible. He just screamed terrible analogies every time Pacquaio landed a punch then went silent when Horn returned fire. He's become a parody of himself.

I think he wanted to emphasize as much as possible that this fight was a cherry pick/sham/etc. That required crapping on Horn. When Horn started making a fight of it, Atlas doubled down rather than give kudos.

Within seconds of the first round he talked about how dry Horn is compared to Manny who was warm and glistening, the agenda was apparent immediately!

I'll definitely give y'all that. His commentary was bad. He did virtually ignore anything that Horn did, and Horn did a lot of good work in there. No question.

But it's one thing to claim that Teddy's commentary swayed casual observers, and quite another to claim that he swayed actual fighters, trainers, and promoters (like Code Red implied). Those guys could give a f**k what the telecast is/was saying. They're watching the actual fight. They see it from a totally different perspective.

But yes, to the point y'all are making regarding Atlas, yes, he was terribly one sided in his commentary.
