There is conflicting info on him out there. He fought under different names, but his official boxrec record is 0-1-0, but his boxrec bio goes into his fights in a little more detail. His IMDB bio says he fought at least 15 fights. I recall reading a more detailed bio of his life that talked about his boxing days. I believe he was mentioned in the autobiography of Graziano or LaMotta and they recall seeing him working out and sparring at the gym.
