Really you think size matters ? I dont know about that theres a blue guy on here (im going to start referring as oblivious pete ) that suggests all SHW's should be around 220 pounds .

Would you favor 220 Joshua over 220 Tyson? lol

The most similar in build was probably Bruno, but watching big fast guys struggling with Mike's head movement make me think he gets this. Josh can be hurt, he doesn't move he's head at all.
None of those guys had anywhere near as much power, instincts and speed as Joshua and they were not as big overall. Prime Tyson was punished by Buster Douglas and that's the indication of what Joshua would do to him except a lot earlier.

With equal skill, size always matters. Plus, I think Joshua can take a punch better than Tyson.

And I think a 220lb. Joshua would still beat Tyson with his height and reach.

I have no problem anyone picking Joshua ,i do have to scratch my head when anyone plays size is a non factor card ,it tells me yhey have no clue about fight mechanics or the sport in general .

Joshua better chin? Nah ,go rewatch that Ruddock fights and Lewis landing over 200 punches on Tyson before falling .

I do think Joshua hits harder than both and would be a close to even fight for Prime Tyson under Rooney . Joshua at 6'6 at 220 would be too lanky .

I think that a couple of shots that Klitschko hit Joshua with would have sparked Tyson but I will concede that maybe the jury is still out on who has the better chin. Tyson did take some good shots vs. Holyfield too and he was a pretty good puncher as well. Joshua would still spark him though. I think max power per shot, Joshua has more power than anyone Tyson ever fought.

The funny thing is 90%of boxers ranked top 100 or more are over 235 pounds . Where are all these supposedly 215 / 220 pounders at that would win? I'll tell you where sitting doing commentary like Bellew who flat out said Joshua is to big and doesnt wish to fight giants .Isnt he the top cruiser weight ? Usyk ? Breidas ? all these guys lose at HW . Size dont matter DOE .

Wilder looked mediocre at below 225 against novice Washington too.... i dare Wilder to come in at that weight of 222 pnds at 6'7 against Joshua . lol

Douglas Tyson wasn't prime. He wasn't with Rooney and the consensus is he wasn't in shape. You can see the clear difference in speed of foot and hand between that fight and say Tucker. Joshua wasn't as fast on he's feet as Tucker, Biggs, Williams ect. He isn't more skilled a boxer than alot of the eighties crop. There's nothing to say he hits harder than Bruno, Smith,Williams, Ruddock. But the main point is he throws far slower than Tyson, has never had to deal with the agression pace or speed of hand and head of a Tyson. He's best win is Wlad, coming off a layoff and loss. 41 and stopped three times previously in a career. It was a good win. But not much to go on as to how he'd deal with Tyson.

Misrepresentation of what I said. Just said Joshua's weight didn't give him any edge over Tysons other big opponents in terms of durability, or an edge over the punchers he fought in terms of power. Nowhere did I say Joshua should weigh 220lb either . Show where I said that or show yourself as a liar. I said Whyte should weigh 225.You said 225 Whyte gets run over by Joshua within three due to weight. So I proved that similar size Wlad got crushed by two 225lbders.Proof superheavies are vulnerable to mid size heavies. Coz the weight don't mean nothing. Seemingly you have to drop my name to others so badly does the truth sting.

Bellews a fat cruiser, stopped at lightheavy. He's also Joshuas stablemate. Don't you think Haye or Wilder could stop or drop Joshua? NO? Explain Wlad Sanders. Explain Wlad Brewster. Explain Brewster Golota. The great Wlad, still vulnerable to their punches. Who'd have thought it? Still can't answer that one can you? Avoidance . the cruisers all lose at heavy. Watch Huck, not even the best cruiserweight, bashing up Povetkin doe.

Everyone says this wasn't prime Tyson when it was. It don't matter if he had the same trainer or not. He came in and did the exact same thing and simply didn't get the same result because of what Douglas brought to the table that night. Size, skill, a good jab and a lot of determination. Joshua has more of those things than Douglas ever dreamed of.

That said.....I think Tyson knocked Douglas out and the count was too long.
