Wilder called Tyson a hater because he thinks AJ wins against Wilder. That's just his opinion.. Doesn't make Tyson a hater, most of boxing think AJ would win against Wilder.

Tyson also said Klitschko will beat AJ. When AJ was asked about what he thought of Tyson's opinion on the fight.. He never called him a hater. He said he respects Tyson's opinion and hopes to gain Tyson's respect after he beats Klitschko. And that's exactly what happened, Tyson has nothing but praise for AJ now.

Exactly, that's why a lot of these fighters sit on the fence when asked about who they think will win an upcoming fight, cos some fighters take it personally if you pick against them when it's not that deep.

I don't like it when fighters play 'victim' and act like the world is against them. What you expect people to love you because you've beaten Stiverne and Arreola? Guy needs to wake up.

I gave Tyson the slight edge here right now ,it really doesnt matter what fighters say , Joshua thinks Fury is a walk in the park and likes that match up, Fury thinks hes the best ever and no one undetr 6'4 has a chance , Wilder has stated hes better than Louis and Foreman thinks Ortiz is better than he was .M. Tyson thinks Ali would beat him and vice versa etc etc .........fighters generally arent going to come out and put themselves over past ones .

Really the best opinion is ones who trained 2 guys or been around them . The fight itself is not a mismatch ,how could it be ? In Tysons prime he never fought anyone over 6'3 like Joshua ! The best way to compare a fight is actually looking at attributes and skills along with the fights of each ,not just a name , thisis RARE from fans bc they are caught up in nostalgic history .

I think 6 foot 5 Tucker, Biggs and Smith give a fair indication that Tyson wouldn't have struggle too much with Joshua's height. Those guys all had comparable frames to Joshua but were faster and more mobile. The most similar in build was probably Bruno, but watching big fast guys struggling with Mike's head movement make me think he gets this. Josh can be hurt, he doesn't move he's head at all.

None of those guys are remotely the power or physical person Joshua is.Faster and mobile?Nope.Joshua has excellent in an out movements and could also fight like Tyson at mid range to close range unlike those guys who needed space to punch.Biggs is nothing compared to a joshua.Tyson could have ended that fight in 2 rnds.

Bruno was a patient non combo puncher who isnt nearly as fast either.With Tyson vs Joshua you have two fast guys looking to get you out of their quick this is entirely different.Joshua doesnt move his head/feint ? Did you see how he avoided Klitchko even after the knock down?

He uses a catch counter style,hes 6'6 he doesnt waste movements bc hes exlosive and aggressive style ..Tyson was rocked/stunned briefly by a upper cut from Tucker it means nothing,no one would say he had poor defense would they? lol

No, I'm a realist. Joshua would've beaten Tyson, too much of a size difference.

I'd have picked Tyson, but I don't believe for a single second that Joshua doesn't think he could beat Tyson. That's not how guys like this are on the inside.

You said that Tyson hadn't fought any good fighters over 6foot 3 so I named some. It's abit early to know how good Joshua is from a win over a 41 year old Klitschko. Certainly I wouldn't worry about Joshua's frame like I said, and he's power wouldn't mean much against Tysons head movement at he's peak. Certainly there's nothing to suggest he's power is in a different league to the likes of Smith, Ruddock or Bruno at this stage. Surely you can see both Biggs and Tucker were more nimble than Josh, who carries another 20lb on he's frame. I don't know where you get the idea that Joshua has anything like comparable speed to Tyson, of hand or foot.Guys like Biggs, Tucker, Thomas all had jabs at least as fast and educated as Josh. Your not telling me avoiding 40 years old Klitschkos low output offense is anything like avoiding Tysons smothering combination punches. He set up fast shots to the head with great body shots. When was the last time Wlad worked the body. The left uppercut that caught Mike from Tucker caught him off balance, certainly didn't rock him like Whyte did to Joshua. Just look at the difference in pace between them. Joshua bounces in and out ok for a big man, but nothing like the speed of foot Tucker showed to keep him in the fight. Mike might well outjab Joshua too ala Tucker. Right now there's nothing on Joshuas record, including 41 year old Wlad, that indicates he competes well with 80s Iron Mike.

Tony Tucker was 6'5", Carl Williams 6'4", Mitch Green 6'5", Jose Ribalta 6'5" and a few others. Height and size were not a problem for Mike. He will get inside and negate the reach and he was very powerful himself.
