he was too big with the wrong style for pac, pac man didn't do enough to win imo... but if they gave it to him I wouldn't have made a big deal, he was landing some good clean shots. It wasn't a Bradley 1 robbery... this loss has really brought the DOG out of you all, goodness look at the boards.
Admit it Horn got a gift decision

Its no a pro mexican thing just a boxing thing. I was a huge chaves fan and even though I knew he most likely wont pull it off I still rooted for him. Does that mean that I didnt know canelo was gonna win no, but to me boxing is boring if all you gonna do is root for the people who are supposed to win.Comment

I honestly don't give a damn about this fight and its outcome.
Hell, I wasn't even gonna watch it and wouldn't have if it wasn't for all the crying about the 'robbery' I read on here the day after the fight.
Pac is done. Pac WAS done long before this fight.
Yeah Pac won by a little margin in my eyes. But the fight was close, could've gone either way. A fight beetwen Manny Pacquiao and some Australian most of us had never heard before could've gone either way.Let that sink in...
Pac got 'robbed' but who cares? If he hadn't lost this fight, he would have the next one or the one after that. Maybe even by KO. Again, he's been shot for a while now. Those judges did him a favour if you ask me.
Manny Pacquiao is a has been.
But yeah, like Szef said, even had Manny got the decision...as a Pacquiao fan would I feel better about it? That he had a life and death struggle that he edged out on the cards? Over Jeff Horn? Truth is no. Hell no. Watching Pacquiao go life and death with an unknown, B fighter (all due respect to Jeff who fought his heart out...but he's still a B fighter AT BEST)...whether he got the decision or not, the final conclusion would have been the same...and that final conclusion is that Manny Pacquiao is officially done at the top level. It is what it is. Manny's a B fighter at this stage, and he's only going to degrade even further which each passing day.
Pacquiao fans like myself knew the writing was on the wall but I think we wanted to hold out a sliver a hope that he could find some magical fountain of youth, even if just for a few more fights as he closed out his career -- but that's pure fantasy. It was as clear as ever Saturday night.Comment

Yeah...I gotta agree. I do think Pacquiao won, but it was close -- close but clear IMO. It was one of those life and death struggles where one fighter still won clearly, if that makes any sense. Like Floyd/Maidana 1.

He knew going in that he was supposed to cruise past this guy. And he didn't. It was a life & death struggle with a guy he didn't even know existed when they signed the fight. He was shell shocked.Comment
