Ok no surprise, another Eddie Hearn Hype-job curbing the American like A.J does with Deontay. I made a comment on the 'World Series of Boxing ' thread created a few hours ago and mentioned how is Callum Smith permitted to fight for a 'Diamond' belt if he takes an L against Dirrel? looks like crooked Eddie Hearn found a way - well played you snake.

Team Dirrell already reneged on two dates, then last week after contracts were signed they reneged on another date and wanted to move the fight half way across the country.

Dirrell is a chump. I'd rather see Smith in this tournament anyway, at least he'll be fighting regularly.

Callum Smith is a coward and Eddie Hearn is a hypocrite : he makes Americans come to Anthony Joshua's backyard and in the case of Charles Martin he was the champion! but his bum-fighter cant do the same.

On a side note however you make valid points and I'm not surprised that one of the Dirrel brothers are screwing up again! Callum is easy work it, should not matter where they fight, LA or Michigan euro-bum Smith gets KO like his brothers.

Hopefully David leaves Anthony stiff on the canvas. I despise the entire Dirrell family.

Yeah this will be his coming out party. Then he can defend against the best guys available and eventually fight the winner of the wbss

Eddie's has sent his fair share of fighters over to the states to fight for titles, Brook, Barker, Rose, DeGale, McDonnell, Cleverly, Bellew.

They signed a contract and agreed a date for Smith to fight, it's the Dirrell's who are messing him about, a fighter can't put his career on hold forever. Purse bids were won on the 5th March. It shouldn't take this long for them to have a date and venue sorted.

If Eddie had won the bid the fight would have probably happened last weekend.

Far be it from me to stand up for Hearn, he's a toss bag, but he's a good promoter and business man and this tournament potentially pits Callum Smith against George Groves for the WBA, which is a much bigger fight than the Dirrell match.
