He does employ some of that mind over matter like Ali did. If you got some skill to back it up, a strong psyche can go a looooong way in this sport!
In one of Breadman's mail bags somebody asked him what he thought were the best qualities or talents of any currently active fighters, and one of his picks was Tyson Fury's self belief.

He said Fury's confidence in his own ability was so high that it bordered on insanity, and he had brainwashed himself into believing he was unbeatable, which gave him a mental edge over his opponents.

It's true. You can tell just by hearing him talk. When someone asks him a question about his abilities, there's no hesitation. He's so confident that there are no doubts or negative thoughts to slow him down. He's consistently performing at high levels.

It doesn't mean he's unbeatable, but his movement is such a problem for most boxers that a knockout is pretty much the only way to win. He has two very hard punchers in Joshua and Wilder. Wilder's speed, angles, and stamina might present the bigger threat.

They do need him back in the mix because he makes everything so much more interesting, but you can't show a pic of the guy at an event a week ago fatter than before and claim he's shedding all of these pounds. I don't know if he'll ever be the same, but I hope he's close.

That's probably true. AJ is a better boxer than Wilder, but not as good as Fury. He's also methodical and predictable, like Wlad, which is why I think Fury would beat him.

Wilder isn't really a boxer at all, which makes him harder to read and predict.

Fury would make both of them look ******. Wilder is the biggest threat because he's pretty unorthodox and can land those big long punches from across the ring with power. But both only have a punchers chance, boxing wise Fury would embarrass them.
