All volleyball players use a ball too that doesn't mean they can compete with Ronaldo or with Messi in Soccer..I train in wing chun and throw a lot of punches that doesn't mean I'm ready to fight a boxer in his own game/yard, two different sports which have nothing to do with each other..and one if not the most important thing in boxing is the foot work, something you can't teach over night especially if you've been trained in MMA..not even kickboxers can adjust to boxing..they move different..they protect themselves different they even throw the punches differently..i used to do boxing before and we sparred kickboxers..those guys legs are spread out because they're used to protect them too, that's why when they throw punches it's just not the same...for them the boxing footwork was very difficult to deal with because it takes them longer to adjust/move and set up their punches

All I'm saying is, he has no boxing knowledge..he has not fought one round as a pro fighter he has nothing which makes him deserve this fight..to me this is a fun/entertainment fight where we can enjoy floyd toying around with him and it's all about them getting richer which is ok, No one in his right state of mind would think this could be an competitive fight..if it is it's because floyd let's it happen to fool the viewers thinking it's competitive. Btw I watched connors training footage..fkn horrible...any proper amateur would beat him..no rhythm no anything a boxer should possess.
First I of, I am not saying Mcgregor will beat Floyd.
You say ''not even kickboxers can adjust to boxing'', thats wrong and there are many kickboxers that where/are succsessful in boxing and one the best hw ever was a kickboxing champion- Vitali Klitschko.
unortodox movement can be a good.
You say he Mcgregor has no boxing knowledge but those who have followed Mcgregor knows he has a lot of knowledge of boxing and he knows a lot of boxing history.
If he knew nothing about boxing how could he walk inside a boxing gym and get the best in sparring against a top 10 ranked boxer in van herdeen. That what also not a good version of conor.
You write''Btw I watched connors training footage..fkn horrible...any proper amateur would beat him..no rhythm no anything a boxer should possess''.
Is this no anything a boxer should possess?

Beating the 155 champion with ease

Knocking out the ufc p4p best and 145 champion in 13 seconds

Going up from 145 pounds to 170 to beat Diaz who weighed 190+ pounds. The same diaz who Andre ward said could hang with any boxer in the ring.

Those who has followed Mcgregor knows when he says something he will do, they take notise.
Offcourse this should be an impossible task for him but you just never know what mcgregor will do.

      Worth watching

I'm tired of hearing people complain about his ****. Let these dudes fight and that's it. If you think it's lame then don't watch it. It's not like McGregor jumped the line or anything. Floyd wasn't coming back for nobody else in Boxing so ppl need to just chill.

I see it as a night for boxing to get one over on MMA.

Their fanboys need to be brought down to earth.

Yeah. The greatest fighter in the last ten or so years against a total novice without even an am background.

Its an outstanding matchup. Who knows who will win? I cant wait. /s.

The reason there is so many critics is because a lot of people are just pissed off that a man can make $100+ million in a fight he's going to win easily. Hopkins, De La Hoya and all of you would've done the same thing if there was enough interest for it to happen. You're upset because it's a mismatch? Mayweather vs almost anyone near his weight is a mismatch and it's been like that for a long time.

PS. Go and put the kettle on women
She has competed at the highest level on both sporting platforms. There is no one more qualified than her when it comes to this issue. Her words cannot and shouldn't be discarded so easily.

She's more qualified than all the boxers you know to speak on this topic because she has done both and they all did boxing. They have no idea what it takes to be mixed martial artist.

I aint saying McGregor will win of course, just like I never said any boxer would win against Floyd. Floyd gonna beat McGregor same way he beat Berto, Pac, Canelo, Marquez, Mosley, Maidana, etc etc.

Holly is a fine example--a very nice person, juices like crazy, came from a boxing background to the MMA, fought an already mentally checked out to Hollywood Rhonda Rousey (who put women's MMA on the map big time) and then Holly got her ass kicked her next 3 fights by nobodies and washed up fighters. Great argument.
