To be fair to Arum, he did comeback from Australia after Parker vs Ruiz gushing about Horn and we all wrote it off as "Arum Trying To Sell Pacquiao vs Horn" Arum has a EYE FOR TALENT that is undeniable! When Arum Label someone as star they do usually become one!

Because when they let Arum pick the judges he 100% knows the goods.

Exactly what i saw. Arum genuinely believed this guy was the goods and he was right,

I remember several quotes about "how handsome jeffor horn is" from arum.

He wants to build this guy. Hes sick of pac and knows it's the end

Stylistically he is a bit awkward with unorthodox head movement from diff angles. And he has a great motor and set of wheels on him.. bouncing and moving non-stop basically for twelve rounds.

But yeah he doesn't reay have any great attributes like speed, power, to make me think he beats any of the top younger WW's like Danny, Spence, Thurman or Brook. I think him and Porter would be a good matchup - they both are very aggressive - but Porter hits a bit harder and is more ruthless.

He is definitely better than we all thought, though, and he's to be in the top 8ish WW's.

He's well rounded and does everything above average, but he isn't a special talent. He hits just hard enough to keep opponents honest.

I had a my revelation about Horn before after the Funeka fight, who is far from a bum by the way. From this time I was convinced Horn was going to take it.

The key for me was footwork which is leagues above Pacquiao's. He can slip punches like none other and is a pretty solid counter puncher. I was particularly impressed by his in and out and upper body movement, as well has his ring generalship and roughhousing techniques, which were key to his victory on Sunday.

Is Horn the goods? LOL guy got dropped by two non-world class, hell non-fringe contenders or even prospect caliber opponents in his last 3 fights. Horn is gonna get feed to Crawford within the next 12 months. And it'll be on ESPN, maybe in Australia again in front of 50k+ fans, & Crawford will be a name on more casuals lips then ever. This is about Crawford not Horn.

Or if Pac looked dominant and stopped Horn early it would make Loma or Crawford look like stars once Arum fed Pac to one of them, creating a new cash cow for Bob.
I might agree on some of your points. I thought arum saw that horn has the fan base and support of a whole country which was an easy sell even for a cherry pick on pac's part.
He was prepared whether manny wins or loses. If manny puts a show and showcases what remains to his tank KOes horn, was entirely up to him.
If manny loses arum still gets horn.
                      He got all areas covered.
People always like to believe in conspiracy theories but the thing is horn got a case on winning.
And Arum is maybe glad that he did.
