Pitiful and pathetic attempt to try and spin the facts in Horn's favor.
One of the most embarrassingly ****** "article" that Boxing Scene has produced in quite some time.Comment

Exactly. It was a close fight and people are using these fake numbers to cry robbery when it was anything but.Watch round 1 and tell me how it's possible to have Pacquiao outlanding Horn like Compubox did. They must have had spoon doing the clicking.
Not a chance in hell did Pacquiao land double the punches through the first 5 rounds like compubox had it. There's no defending those numbers.Comment

Well cmon brother, no sh^t watching the fight tells you more who's arguing that?
The fight itself is where you are saying these numbers are "rubbish" from & where I'm saying Horn didn't win 9 rounds from.
All I'm suggesting is the judges cards & compubox numbers are accurate more often than not + tell the story of what we just watched more or less. And the judges nor compubox are accurate 100% of the time. Plus I personally tend to believe when the judging is wrong there is often evidence of why its wrong in the compubox numbers along with what I saw with my own eyes. And my own eyes + compubox tell me that 9-3 Horn judge is incompetent or corrupt more than my eyes & the judges tell me the compubox button mashers are incompetent or corrupt.
I just don't see that, unfortunately
"the judges tell me the compubox button mashers are incompetent"
my eyes tell me that the button mashers are incompetent
my take is..... compubox is over-rated, and largely worthlessComment

Fair enough.
I think you will just start enjoying the sport less as stats become more part of the sport when they start putting sensors in gloves & can measure speed + punches + power & maybe other sh^t, again not perfectly, but still enough to tell the story of the fight more often then not.Comment

I watched the fight again and it was a lot closer than I thought. Horn couldn't have got credit for some of his punches. I still think Manny won but it was very close. It was a very entertaining fight. Even though Horn put up a good fight I can't see him in with the top Welterweights. He won't be able to rough them up like he did to PAC.Comment

Does Compu Box count punches in the clinch? Because Horn was massively throwing punches in the clinch that were landing on Pac.
Also lets remember "CompuBox is the name of a computerized punches scoring system run by two operators" There is errors always.Comment
